My ultimate goal is to be a fiiine cinematographer aka director of photography. I want to create what you see when you're watching a film on the silver screen. However, I can't be the best at that until I practice practice practice. How do I practice lighting and composition and sharpen my creative eye without time to prep a film crew/ cast?
With a photo camera. Besides, isn't that how films began in the first place? As time goes on, I can and will open more time to work with a film crew very soon. (Here's hoping that this decision with help me financially someday) But for now, this is where my heart will be while I continue to pour into some exiting upcoming film projects.
My passion is art and photography- even though my idea of photography has been in motion pictures- I see the beauty in everything and I'm ready to capture that beauty and allow myself to feel alive doing what I love to do everyday!
Give me a few months- a year to really find a style and be decent enough to work with. I'm starting from scratch never having picked up a real camera and never having touched photoshop.
But until I get decent, I invite you to keep up with my progress and PLEASE offer feedback. I have no idea what I'm doing- so I'll certainly need it:)
